Hey guys, Maybe you might have better luck then I have been having with this. I have been trying to graphic hack the sprites for Beyond Oasis with Tile Molester(TM), But for the life of me I can't get the thing to co-operate. I am fairly new to Tile Molester so I'm not entirely sure what settings to change to make these align properly;I have tried for so many hours different block sizes(currently at 1,4 in image, Closest I got), Row interleave I/O, and column adjustment to no luck.

Tile Layer Pro had a Tile arranger window. The Program is even worse at aligning this game it seems, but it at least allows me to drag the tiles to a separate window and puzzle them together. Is it possible to directly puzzle pieces together on the rom through TM without having it readout all crazy- or does it have a tile arranger window I can't seem to find?
The follow question is twofold:
First, the best way to go about graphic hacking- would it be easier to edit sprites outside of TM and then just replace the tiles in the rom through TM, and if so How do I load sprite from an Image file like a gif to read in TM.
or
Second, Just edit the sprites directly in TM- which all I would need help with is getting the darn thing aligned.
And finally a generic Sprite Question; a good one for Grim to answer I think, given that he has sprite ripped these characters before. Are all individual Character Sprites the same amount of tiles? I ask because with a game like Pokemon the Character sprites are very very clearly 4 tiles, but in Beyond Oasis I have yet to get Ali to fit in under 24 tiles but I have also gotten him to fit "better" with 28 tiles. I am curious if he is supposed to fit magically in between but more curious if sprite1 is more tiles then say sprite20 while the character is doing something like jumping?
I have attempted Google, but to be honest the amount of Genesis Spriting info is very Slim compared to the huge quantity of Pokemon, Mario and Zelda Spriting- All of which also seem to have much easier time aligning sprites in TM.
I appreciate answer to any of the questions.
